I also deleted previous versions of Adobe on my systems, don't think that made a difference. I moved the module from it's location out to my desktop, then deleted all the shortcuts I found. Tried deleting XLStart, but after Excel ‘repaired' itself, same error. all other pcs can open it, but I can't. Excel looks at the last 3 letters, not the nam as a whole.
