Why is 10W resistor getting hot with only 6.5W running through it? Kelley's workaround does not fix the issue for me. For example, if the checkin policy installed is for VS2010, but git-tfs finds VS2012, then the 2012 client lib won't be able to load the checkin policy. Somehow the installation messed something up. Has anyone else gotten the TFS Power Tools checkin policy pack to work with VS 11? Anyway, still learning so I appreicate blogs like yours which help move us all along in the right direction. But maybe I missed something?
