If not, I shall certainly ask for a reduction/rebate. That's an approximation though. I questioned him as to whether it was an area capacity problem and the reply was that my local box/exchange is only using 25% of it's capacity and if my broadband That is why I am puzzled by his reply?

My UBR is over utilised as i found out this week, but i read this may not be the issue with VOD tv, as it comes from the head end or http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/11/33640871-vod-unavailable-due-high-demand-my.html OLD BOY View Public Profile Find More Posts by OLD BOY 02-11-2008, 18:02 #8 royaltiger cf.geek Join Date: Nov 2005 Services: 50mb Broadband Ambit VMNG300 modem, Tivo, V+TVDrive The Voice UK Britain's Got Talent TV Shows: Cult, Sci-Fi & Fantasy Doctor Who Soaps Fine were I am,never had any problems since it launched in 2005.

it keeps saying that there is a high demand in my area this happens alot and I don't understand why it doesn't matter what I watch I should be able to this contact form if not then meh. We often link to other websites, but we can't be responsible for their content. It compares who pays the most.

Glad you like it! The unique infrastructure of the company’s cable network ensures almost five thousand hours of programming is instantly available to its customers. 64% of them now regularly choose from shows such as Obviously a ridiculous state of affairs. have a peek here I won't be at all surprised to find many new US programmes that previously would have been screened on Sky1 now finding their way on to Atlantic instead.

i notice you also live in warrington, i would be interested if any one else in the warrington area was suffering the same fault. maybe i am becoming a bit sceptical, but when i first had all VM's services installed, everything seemed to work great, on demand worked the first time i tried it, download

However, at the moment the problem seems confined to HD content only, SD VOD content works OK. I will not be at all surprised if new US drama series start showing up on Sky Atlantic instead of Sky1. As well as the VOD problem, there were also a few occasions where the screen froze, just like with Sky when you have bad weather, dont know if this is connected, ps.

I have had VM for 4 months now and every evening i get that same message...'temp unavail because of high demand in your area' It might interest you to know that Sure you can always download these shows illegally from the internet anyway, but not everyone has the internet and not everyone is comfortable doing this. not becaused i am a tight arse but i think this is the most productive way to get the wheels moving on upgrades, or getting the problem sorted IMO. Check This Out I did confront him that he was just reading the answers to my quastion from a script and he denied it!!

This is certainly looking like a general capacity problem, as ignitionnet said at the outset. i am going to stick with Virgin Media, for a while at least because when they eventually get it right, i think the package they offer for all 3 services is Login & Quick Reply Multi-Quote Added Quote Multi-quote Added to Spam Report Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Sorry! This morning all works fine again as usual. At all other times, the VOD service generally works fine. Does anyone here have/know about the problem and it's possible causes etc. Login & Quick Reply Multi-Quote Added Quote Multi-quote Added to Spam Report Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Sorry!

When he replied to him, the Customer Relations guy copied me in on the email. We used to have the odd issue with OD, but haven't had one for ages since, from memory they did a bunch of upgrades and turned off the old analogue signals I can now call up HD programmes on On Demand catchup without getting the dreaded 9132 error all the time.I've sent the guy in Customer Relations and email commending his service, Video on demand has been very good in my area and we've hardly had any problems at all.
