So, while deploying the application by using VS2008 , Build->deploy solution, i''m getting the error: "Project : error PRJ0003 : Error spawning 'rc.exe'". Pls help me to slove this error. Regards, You're welcome. The required RC.exe will most likely placed in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\XXX\Bin" where XXX is the different version number.

It's a hello world program. So my solution was simple: I copied rc.exe and rcdll.dll from my VS2005 installation into one of the above folders. Can anyone help me? You’ll be auto redirected in 1 second.

All tho the re-install did put the rc.exe in the path. I tried the suggestion of the original poster but it does not work. We appreciate your feedback.
