The first error about pdb not writable occurred to me too and was a VS bug. However, when I go to build the project, I get the following error: Code: error C2471: cannot update program database 'c:\users\*****\desktop\xbmc\project\vs2008express\xbmc\debug (directx)\vc90.pdb' tied with: Code: fatal error C1083: Cannot open program Anyway, all is well now. Do a rebuild or clean of your project (or at least the projects that have those errors). Rebuilding the affected projects works for me when that happens. As Paradigm suggest rebuild usually fixes this, if not close VS and delete that particular file. Even though /Gm is disabled it still generates a idb. Can I "build" a TDS project without having it attempt to deploy? Do you need help?
