It just seems like I have to choose other option (not "Auto"), then it connects fine. You cant get around it... Whatever "vncdesktop" is, it seems to be at the heart of the problem. FIXED: VNC Server now resizes correctly if the screen resolution of the computer on which it runs changes.

At least, with my test XP Pro which isn't inside a domain: when there's already an RDP session and when I start a VNC session, the RDP session is dropped immediately.

Restarting the winvnc service does not fix the problem either.
